To open the 30th Anniversary season of the Carlos Moseley Chamber Music Series at Converse College, the American Chamber Players were joined by distinguished guest artists for a performance of Aaron Copland's masterpiece, Appalachian Spring. This American classic was premiered at the Library of Congress in 1944, and the ACP and friends performed it in Copland's brilliant, seldom-heard original version for thirteen instruments.
